not the correct width I purchased a Soleus 14,000btu heat/cool unit with a 24" width. I was told at the time of purchase to get the wall sleeve from home depot. None of the depot's in my area carry them but was told I could special order a wall sleeve that "should" work. I continued shopping on line and found supposedly the correct sleeve on Amazon and placed the order. I framed the wall for the 24" wide wall sleeve and installed the unit. (the unit seems to work fine) The sleeve arrived in a flat cardboard box. The assembly instructions (picture illustrations only) are terrible. Bottom line is the assembled sleeve is 26" wide, not 24" as advertized. What I've learned is that most thru the wall heat/cool units are 26" wide and the sleeves are designed for this size, of course a 24" unit will slide inside a 26" sleeve but the wall has to be re-framed to support the wider sleeve. This is the 1st of 6 apartments that I'm remodeling and will not be installing a Soleus product in the other units. I will...
