Not the best product for home use This device is VERY noisy; especially the dripping water. The product cannot be used in the bedroom if you're trying to sleep...it's like having the TV or radio on all night; although my kids did not have a problem when I placed it in the hallway and used the swing feature to cool both rooms at the same time. I need to have the TV up very loud to overcome the noise from the machine when it's placed it in the family room. Secondly, it does not seem to cool as well as advertised; it also had a horrible smell coming from the unit. After running it for a few days it disappeared. I would research the market for another brand if you're planning on peace and quite in your home.
