Will Update Got this for a bedroom 14 x 15 feet. Consumer Reports recommended 8010 and 8011, the prior versions of this. This version should be an improved version. I will try to include info that the other reviewer did not. This is just as quiet as the Danby 6000 BTU, which I regretted returning. The 6000 BTU uses less wattage. This one was measured at averaging 700 watts, sometimes going above 800. For some reason, the dehumidifier option goes over 700 watts. To know whether the compressor (the ac function) is actually working and not just the fan, I have it plugged into kil-a-watt. When the compressor is on, the kil a watt states over 600 watts. When it is off, the kil a watt states 150 watts The fan takes 150 watts ?? Why 4 stars ?? I don't like it when the watt useage goes above 700 watts. The left side vent doesn't blow as much as as the right side. It is heavy, and I have to remove it every fall...
