Nice room/small home air conditioner ------ August update about this product: The EER rating of 9.8 understates this products efficiency. I live in NC and it's BEEN HOT since June, with no sign of letting up. Today, 08/11/11 was the first day in over sixty, that the high temperature was under 90. It was 87. (cloudy and rainy) ;) For the most part, it's been mid to upper 90's since June. Anyways, When I got my power bill in July for the month of June, it was just $54. I was like ok, it will take a month for the power usage to show up. I just recievied my August bill for the month of July and it was only $57. Honestly!!!!!!!!!! And let me tell you, this unit has worked it's butt off.. ;) I used to not give an EER number a second look, but now that is all I look for when buying anything electric. Even at 110 volts, it puts out as much cool air as my old 220 outside unit. If I was still using it, (0utside unit) my power bills would be well over $120. ------ After reading some of the reviews for...
